As you mentioned we have the tools to analyse behaviour, eyetracking, user testing, A/B split but we don’t have ways of measuring this behaviour.

The current metrics used to analyse web performance and sadly behind the curve on this. Session length, repeat visits or even hits don’t allow for this find grained measurement.

We need new ways of measuring behaviour before we can analysis so we can set the right kind of goals to understand website performance.
